    • Introduction of preventive management of pollution, 83 programs in 5 areas for total investment of 5.4328 trillion won
  • ‘Master Plan for Preservation of Marine Environment (3rd, 2006~2010)’
    • Firm establishment of preventive management of pollution, 58 programs in 4 areas for total investment of 6.3793 trillion won

Characteristics of plan

  • Official plan under the provisions of the Article 14 of the Marine Environment Management Act
  • Comprehensive policy plan to integrated the plans by each sector and department and implement it systematically
  • Master plan that becomes the reference for detailed implementation plans established and executed by the administrations
  • Plan which reflects the requirements changes and assesses the implementation output to adjust the action plan and budget for the following year

Applied to direct and indirect projects to manage the marine environment in the sea areas, water zones, zones, ships, marine facilities, etc. in accordance with the Article 3 of the Marine Environment Management Act
